Thank you for you interest in Choirs for Change. We have three non-auditioned choirs (Astra, Polaris and Lyra) and one auditioned choir (Borealis). More details are below.
Astra
Astra admits new members several times a year, typically in September and January. Singers who sing in an upper voices range of all abilities are welcome to join Astra, though members typically come to the group with experience in choral or social justice settings.

Borealis
Borealis (formerly Eastern Horizon) is a chamber ensemble with limited spots. Auditions are held at an irregular basis when spots become available. The first step to securing an audition is filling out an application of interest. In-person audition times will be offered based on these applications. During the auditions, singers will be expected to demonstrate an experienced level choral and singing knowledge, and a commitment to contemporary performance. These are auditions are facilitated by the choir's leadership. Audition dates and a link to applications will be posted here, and on our Facebook page.

Lyra
Lyra (formerly Spíra) welcomes singers of all experiences to join in on the ensemble. Lyra is active during the summer months, and will hold a series of open rehearsals to welcome new members into the ensemble.
